-Know the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred, whether within the country or abroad
-Request the adjustment of incomplete or inaccurate personal data
-Request the notification of third parties to whom personal data has been transferred regarding the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data
-Object to any outcome that arises against the individual as a result of the exclusive analysis of processed data through automated systems.
Individuals have a claim to demand compensation if they suffer damages due to unlawful processing of their personal data.
You can submit your requests in accordance with the rights listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698 through one of the methods below, in accordance with Article 13 of the Law and Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 6698, your requests will be responded to with no charge within 30 days. However, if the process requires additional cost, a fee may be charged as specified in the relevant communiqué.
To submit an application, you can fill out the “BİOTA Personal Data Protection Law Data Subject Request (DSR) Form” and submit it in person, via a notary, through a registered electronic mail (REM) address or via a pre-registered email address recorded in BİOTA’s system.
Applicants must also provide identity verification documents. Applications must include the applicant’s full name, signature (if in written form), Turkish ID number, official address for notifications, email address (if available), phone number, fax number (if available), and details of the request. If identity verification cannot be completed, the request will not be processed.
